GOOSENECK RESIDENCY - FIRING THE GOSLING

The Gooseneck residency programme is a unique opportunity to experience a making cycle and wood firing all within a focused two-week period.
Making work, Glazing, Kiln packing, Firing, Unpacking and analysis, discussion and Slide presentations. Clay, glazes, wood included.

JUNE
FIRING THE GOSLING
7th - 9th of June 2025
Firing the Gosling is a excellent introduction to wood firing. Participants will have pieces in the kiln and be involved in all aspects of the process.
The programme covers packing (previous weekend) 2 days + firing.
Cooling, unpacking, grinding, analysis (following weekend)

NOVEMBER
THE 2025 WOOD FIRING AND SALT GLAZE EXPERIENCE
The Firing - Sat 1st, Sun 2nd, Mon 3rd and Tue 4th.
Kiln prep/packing Sun 19th of October.
Unpacking and discussion Sat 15th and Sun 16th of November.
Nobori Gamma Firing. Presented over three sessions.
Every year we have spectacular results from this majestic kiln. Have numerous pieces in the firing and be involved in every part of the process.
